Dedication secures victory for Southside Stormers Basketball

In a thrilling showcase of talent and teamwork, the Southside Stormers Basketball Club U19 won the TVT Activation 3 on 3 Tournament on May 26.

Hosted annually by the Edenvale Lions Basketball Academy, the tournament brought together over 20 clubs from across Johannesburg for an electrifying display of basketball prowess.

Sponsored by First National Bank, Build It, and other generous supporters, the event allowed young athletes to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level.

The tournament marked a milestone for the Southside Stormers, led by their coach and chairperson, Nathy Madubaduba.

Speaking about their win, Madubaduba expressed gratitude for the chance to participate in the tournament for the first time. He commended the team’s dedication and determination, especially considering it was their inaugural experience in a 3 on 3 format.
