Boxing legend Paul ‘King’ Kamanga set for explosive comeback on December 1
Kamanga appreciates everyone who supported him through his journey as a boxer.
After a two-year hiatus from boxing, southerner Paul ‘King’ Kamanga is returning triumphantly to professional boxing and is doing it in a big way.
The highly anticipated fight on December 1 will be at the Riverside Hotel and Conference Centre in DurbanNorth, with Kamanga’s bout as a highlight of the night. The event will also feature another rising star, Jarred Lovett, who will headline the card. Doors open at 14:00.
The former four-time WBA Pan African Champion and WBC International Champion accepted a challenge few others dared to take, facing the legendary four-time world champion Malcolm ‘Stone’ Klassen.
“I accepted immediately,” Kamanga stated when offered the fight.
“No one seemed to want to fight Klassen, and rightfully so. His amazing talent and skill in the sport elevate him to legendary status. But I am ready. This is my moment.”

Despite stepping back from professional boxing to focus on his company, King Kamanga Boxing, and his charitable initiatives with JJ’s Automotive Spare Parts, Kamanga has not lost his hunger for competition.
Ge spent his time outside the ring building his brand and giving back to his community, but the call of the sport never faded.
“Getting back into training camp and pushing my body to its limits feels incredible,” Kamanga shared from his Mulbarton apartment.
“I thank everyone who sponsors me for this fight, including companies like Shanalee Apparel, SCM DMA, Nexus Travel, and Big Bom Lollipop. Without their support, this comeback would not be possible,” he said.

The King also took a moment to reflect on his journey and express his gratitude to his fans and trainers.
“To everyone who’s been part of my career over the years, thank you for everything.
“As I prepare for this fight, let me remind you: let no man forget how menacing we are. We are lions!” noted the King.
