WATCH: South boxer Malajika faces Chauke on March 1
The IBO Junior Bantamweight World Champion takes on his role model in a division lower at Emperors Palace, with both fights set to air on SuperSport Action.
South boxer, Ricardo Malajika (IBO Jnr Bantamweight World Champion) will be fighting Jackson Chauke (IBO Fly Weight World Champion) on March 1 at Emperors Palace.
This is a fight that Ricardo said he would win although he regards Jackson as his role model. It will be a flyweight contest, a division lower than where Ricardo is fighting at the moment.
Ricardo’s trainer Manny Fernandes said this shows character, discipline, and integrity to fight a division lower than your weight.
His brother Charlton will fight on March 2. Both fights will be televised on SuperSport Action 210.
