Gauteng LSEN athletics championship celebrates inclusivity and excellence

The Gauteng LSEN Athletics Championship is underway.

The Gauteng Learners with Special Educational Needs (LSEN), Athletics Championship is currently taking place at Roodepark School Sports Grounds, in Roodepoort.

The event started on March 10 and ended on March 12.

This incredible championship brings together talented athletes with special educational needs from across Gauteng, celebrating inclusivity, determination, and sporting excellence.

The athletes competed in a range of events, including sprint races, long-distance races, high and long jumps, and shotput.

The top performers will qualify for the SA LSEN Championships, representing Gauteng on the national stage.
This event is a shining example of the phrase “disability is not inability”.
