Brave men gear up for the Hollard Daredevil Run this Friday

Men and boys can still register at Zoo Lake until 14:30 to join the purple wave raising funds and awareness for male cancers.

The streets are set to turn purple this Friday, October 31, as men and boys across South Africa take part in the annual Hollard Daredevil Run, raising awareness about prostate and testicular cancer.

Now in its 16th year, the event has become a bold and fun way to start serious health conversations while raising funds for CANSA and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of South Africa.

Last year’s run saw over 6 000 participants nationwide and raised R1 million. This year, Hollard aims to double the funds to reach and screen more men.

Men and boys in Johannesburg can still register on the day at Zoo Lake until 14:30, or online via Ticketpro for R180, which includes a purple Speedo and race pack.

Those who can’t run are encouraged to show their support by donating through the BackaBuddy platform, helping make an even greater impact.
