Malajika shines as Fernandes camp celebrates double victory
The IBO Junior Bantamweight champion defends his world title, while heavyweight newcomer Ethan Peters delivers a first-round knockout.
It was a great day at the office for trainers Manny and Richard Fernandes when both of their fighters won their bouts at Emperors Palace on November 29.
Ricardo Malajika successfully defended his IBO Junior Bantamweight world title when he beat Vince Paras from the Philippines by way of a unanimous points decision over 12 rounds.

In the other fight, a newcomer to the heavyweight division, at just 19 years old, Ethan Peters showed a lot of promise. He knocked out his opponent, Sibabalo Mnani, in 1 minute 33 seconds in the first round.

Manny and Richard congratulated the fighters on their quest for glory.
