Minnie’s wedding show the highest rated in Vuzu history
It seems her fans were not joking when they said they would upgrade their DStv packages just to watch her wedding.
Minnie and Quinton Jones’ wedding show, Becoming Mrs Jones, has officially been announced as the highest rated show in Vuzu Amp history, news the TV presenter also shared with her fans.
Taking to social media, she wrote: “Best news ever! Thank you all so much. Please don’t miss my favourite episode tomorrow.”
The couple have decided to document their wedding in a three-part series, showing everything from choosing wedding dresses until the day she said ‘I do’. Her wedding, which took place in Cape Town last month, was attended by A-listers such as Anele Mdoda, Hulisani Ravele, Somizi Mhlongo and Unathi Msengana, to name a few.
Some of her followers congratulated her, and said they upgraded their DStv packages just to see her, something naysayers had said would never happen.
“When we said we upgrading for #BecomingMrsJones we were not joking or lying just to get likes we were telling the truth congratulations girl,” said one, while another said: “You are the best love, God will keep on blessing you. Happiness is written all over you. Keep on doing your thing. I upgraded just for you.”
