4dever Jazz hosts Concert in the Garden event to raise funds for local church
The concert aimed to raise funds that will be donated to the All Saints Anglican Church in Fourways.
In their efforts to help give back to the community, 4ever Jazz hosted Concert in the Garden at the All Saints Anglican Church in Fourways on April 30.
The fundraising concert featured well-known South African jazz music artists like Gloria Bosman, Afro Balkan Ensemble, Marcus Wyatt and many others.
One of the event organisers, Helga Klizanie, said the concert was aimed at raising funds that will be donated to the All Saints Anglican Church in Fourways.
Klizanie said, “The fun-filled Concert in the Garden, hosted by 4everjazz, was a resounding success. The event was a host of activities for the whole family to enjoy with live music, good food, arts and crafts, beer garden and a market. The sun shone brightly as the fundraiser event raised R60 000 towards the R100 000 for The Parish of All Saints church.
“The funds will go towards the operational needs of the church as well as the youth programmes that were halted due to the pandemic.”
She added that 4ever Jazz will continue encouraging people to donate towards the initiative to reach their R100 000 target.
