The market will feature local artisans, festive food stalls, and community activities, with all proceeds going to CRF’s Witkoppen Primary School Uniform Drive.

The holiday spirit is arriving early in Pineslopes as Renew Church, in collaboration with the City Renewal Foundation (CRF), prepares to host the Renew Christmas Market on November 22 at Sunset Boulevard.

Residents and visitors can enjoy browsing handcrafted goods, tasting seasonal treats, and celebrating the season while contributing to a project that benefits children in need.

The foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to restoring dignity and opportunity to families in need. Its initiatives include food security programmes, job creation, skills training, and community outreach, all aimed at uplifting and supporting residents.

Wandi Mange, the chief executive officer of the foundation, said, “This is the first time we are hosting a Christmas market with the hope of raising some funds to help with buying the uniforms needed at Witkoppen Primary. Vendors have been asked to pay it forward by donating a percentage of their sales toward the uniform project.”

The event promises to be a joyful, community-focused celebration of giving, togetherness, and local talent, providing an opportunity for residents to enjoy the season while making a real difference in children’s lives.
