“We thought it will be a way of getting different groups of the initiative in the area involved. We were joined by the expat group who are women from all around the world and we wanted to create awareness as we have been going on for 10 years now. It is amazing to see how something started out as an idea and then grew into this movement internationally.”

“We have blankets that we give to those who are cold and in need so that they can keep warm through the season. So, instead of having a huge event that we have been doing for the past 10 years – where we get blankets from all around the country and have a huge display – this year, all the little groups all over the country are choosing their beneficiaries. We as Fourways Gardens are going to Diepsloot to give away blankets to eight organisations.”
