Busy weekend for Katlehong SAPS
The Katlehong SAPS, together with the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit and EMPD, arrested a total of 23 suspects in the Katlehong area.
Between February 20 and 22, the Katlehong SAPS, together with the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit and EMPD, arrested a total of 23 suspects in the Katlehong area.
The arrests were made during stop-and-search operations and road blocks setup at key points in Katlehong.
The suspects were arrested for a number of offences including; driving under the influence of alcohol, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, possession of drugs (mainly nyaope and dagga) and drinking in public.
The suspects are due to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court.
