New recovery centre to be launched in Dukathole

The community is invited to attend the Silkworth Recovery and Care Centre’s launch of their new recovery centre on Saturday.

The centre will be hosting a jumble sale, selling clothes, household items and other goods while speaking to people about the new recovery centre situated at the Dukathole Old Clinic.

The old clinic can be found at 1166A Ninth Street, in Dukathole.

Silkworth is a non-paying rehabilitation centre for substance abusers located in Primrose, but they saw the need to open a second centre in Dukathole.

The event is set to start at 8am.
