Substance abuse under the spotlight
The Primrose SAPS and Sanca are warning children not to become involved in the use of drugs or alcohol.

Pupils from Primrose High School were visited by the Primrose police and representatives from Sanca, recently.
They spoke to the children about illegal substances like dagga and other drugs, as well as alcohol abuse.
“The pupils were warned to stay away from these things,” said Const Styles Maome, from the Primrose SAPS.
Achford Waini, from Sanca, told the pupils that they should not believe the myth that if you smoke dagga you will be good at mathematics.
He advised them to rather study, as they will reap what they sow.
Lieut-Col Frans Lepadima, head of visible policing in Primrose, encouraged the pupils to stay away from crime.
Members of the Primrose SAPS Youth Desk then performed a drama, featuring the topic of substance abuse, for the pupils.
