The Bedfordview and Germiston SPCA staff members received special goodie bags for themselves and food items for the animals from eight-year-old Gabriella and 10-year-old John Foldvari Nagy.
The two youngsters are from the South African Hellenic Educational and Technical Institute (SAHETI), in Senderwood, Johannesburg.
“The photo says it all – my staff are excited and happy to be receiving the generous gifts,” said Laurence Kingston, SPCA manager.
The staff members received a picnic bag filled with cups, plates, cutlery and other picnic items.
Laurence told the GCN that each staff member also received a warm jacket.
“They also received a huge tin of coffee, sugar, biscuits, a packet of soup and noodles,” he added.
“We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation for the generous donation of bags of dog food.
“Knowing that both of them are so young makes their presentation and donations to our SPCA so much more special.”
