Germiston Child Welfare is inviting members of the community of greater Germiston, who have a passion for children and an interest in ensuring their well-being, to attend its AGM.
The management committee is looking for people to join the organisation and become members.
As a member you will not be responsible for overseeing the operations of the society, but you can assist the committee in ensuring that the objective of protecting children is achieved.
You will be required to add value to the organisation by sharing your knowledge, skills and capacity to ensure the continuation of services rendered by Child Welfare.
Everyone has different skills to offer, be it a plumber, a bookkeeper or even a volunteer to assist for a few hours once a year, or to support the charity’s fund-raising initiatives.
For more information, or to join Child Welfare, contact Barbara Bouwer on (011) 825-3655/6/7/8, or email to gmtchildwelfare@absamail.co.za.
Germiston Child Welfare’s AGM takes place on September 18, at 9.30am, at the Germiston Central Methodist Church, in Lady Duncan Street.
All are welcome to attend.
