Residents of Primrose are asked to be on the alert.
There are still a number of house robberies taking place in the Primrose area.
According to the Primrose CPF the suspects gain access to the houses by lifting the electric gates off their rails.
Residents are advised to have a metal plate welded to the top of their electric gates to help prevent criminals from being able to lift the gates off their rails.
There have been reports that a metallic blue Audi A4 with no number plates is used by the perpetrators involved in the house robberies.
If anyone has information about this vehicle they should report it to the Primrose police on 011 842-0500/0522 or the Sector Two police vans on 071 675 6866/67.
Members of the public should also take notice of luxury vehicles parked in areas longer then is deemed necessary (when the occupants are not visiting someone in that area) as criminals driving luxury vehicles are watching an area’s comings and goings, to assist them in determining the best time to perform robberies.
