Halloween Parade

The third annual Delville CPF Sector Three Halloween Parade took place on Saturday, October 26.

CPF members and SAPS officers joined forces to take residents through the streets of the Sector Three area.

The streets involved are Bailleul, Mons, Menin, Louvain, Lens, Leige, Namur and Ostend.

Before the walk began, the residents taking part in the parade were given a brief break-down of the route they would be walking and some simple safety tips that would ensure their safety.

The children were given the chance to trick or treat at various houses along the route.

The CPF requested residents who wanted to be visited by the children to decorate their gates or driveways to indicate that they had some goodies to share.

There were prizes for the best dressed participants.

Georgia Ruthven (9) and Isabella Wagner (5) were chosen as the best dressed girls at the parade, with Dean Jordaan (7) and Juan-Drey Viviers (11) as the best dressed boys.
