Join the Ruth Mailbag Group in making Christmas a little brighter.
The group is asking the community to donate Christmas presents for premature and newborn babies and their moms.
These babies and their mothers need many different items, so any donations are appreciated.
The group requests that the gifts be in traditional Christmas colours, namely, red, green and white.
Knitted, crocheted and other hand-made outfits are also welcome.
The community can send their donations to the Bertha Gxowa Hospital’s maternity ward, on the corner of Angus and Joubert streets, Germiston.

Community members are asked to add their name and email address to the donation so the hospital can inform you when your donation has arrived.
