Top students honoured

Boston City Campus honours its achievers.

Boston City Campus and Business College Germiston recently held a special awards ceremony to honour their top students for 2013.

The top students were:

  •  Top Computer Student – Software Category:

Sibusiso Mtsweni with six distinctions for introduction to PC, Ms Word 2010, Ms Excel Advanced 2010, general office practice and internet.

  •  Top Computer Student – Technical Category:

Mokete Ramateletse achieved the highest marks for A+ and N+ through CompTia.

  •  Top Management Student:

Palesa Seepe achieved the highest marks in human resource management and practices support.

  •  Top Marketing and Sales Student:

Tshepo Mosia

  •  Top Hospitality and Leisure Student:

Matshidiso Nkoko achieved two distinctions, in fares and ticketing, within Africa (DTT) and Amadeus.

  •  Top Service Industry Student:

Thembi Masweu obtained an average of 81 per cent, with three distinctions, in principles of customer service, introduction to business accounting and practical bookkeeping L1.

  •  Top Accounting Student:

Moleletsi Ranosi obtained four distinctions, in life skills, practical bookkeeping L2, intermediate accounting 1 and 2, and advanced accounting.

  •  Top Secretarial Student:

Nonhlanhla Hlatshwayo achieved an average of 81 per cent, with a distinction for principles of customer service.

  •  Overall Top Student for 2013:

Nicholas Mahlangu achieved an 82 per cent average, with three distinctions, for life skills, Adobe Photoshop 1 and Adobe Photoshop 2.

Nicholas completed the following learning programmes: computer clerk, software specialist, computer technician, networking technician and information technology year one.
