Two men, aged 26 and 30 respectively, were recently arrested for the theft of a motor vehicle.
The arrest was made when patrolling officers noticed a vehicle being towed down Premula Road.
Officers recognised the vehicle, but not the man driving it.

“The officers decided to call the man they knew to own the vehicle,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“The vehicle’s owner told officers that he had left his car in a local parking lot, as he had experienced gearbox problems, but he had not given permission for his car to be towed.”
Officers then stopped the two men and asked who had told them to tow the vehicle.
Neither could offer a sufficient explanation and they were both arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station.
