The Primrose police arrested a 44-year-old man on March 19, on charges of rape.
The arrest was made after a woman came to the Primrose Police Station, to open a case of rape.
She told officers she had been a local hotel on business.
The man she was meeting asked her to come through to a back room,so they could have a private meeting.
“The victim claims she never noticed him locking the door,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officers for the Primrose police.
“He began to make sexual advances towards her, which she refused; this is when he raped her.”
Using the victim’s description, officers were able to track down the accused and he was arrested.
