Drug dealer bust in Driehoek

Joint operation leads to arrest.

Members of the Germiston SAPS, in conjunction with the Johannesburg SAPS K9 Dog Unit, recently mounted a search operation.

The operation focused on searching suspected places known for drugs.

In Driehoek Road, the team searched the premises of a suspected drug dealer and found drugs in his personal possession and in his shop.

The 43-year-old accused was found with small bags containing a white substance, suspected to be CAT.

In total, nine units with an estimated street value of R5 000 of this substance were confiscated.

“The suspect was arrested and charged with dealing in drugs, and was detained at the Germiston Police Station,” said WO AndrĂ© de Jager, spokesperson for the Germiston SAPS.
