The Germiston SAPS recently arrested two men on charges of common robbery.
The arrests were made after the victim came to the Germiston Police Station to report the incident.
He explained that he had been on the corner of Driehoek and Junction roads, when he was approached by three men who assaulted him and took R200, his um Seeker permit, two bank cards and a cellphone.
Officers were able to track down two of the three men the victim described; the third is still at large.
The men were taken to the Germiston Police Station to await their appearance in the Germiston Magistrates Court.
