Police arrest six people in Lambton

The Germiston police were patrolling in Lambton, on Wednesday, when they spotted a suspicious-looking black Nissan X-Trail.

The vehicle, containing six occupants, was stopped at the side of the road.

The police officers conducted a search of the car and its occupants and discovered a jamming device and housebreaking implements.

The five men and one woman in the vehicle, ranging in age from 30 to 40 years old, were arrested and detained at the Germiston Police Station, as further investigations continue.

They are due to appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
