Seventeen-year-old Mpho Talane was reported missing at the Germiston Police Station by his father, Walter, on September 1.
The teenager was last seen by a relative on August 22, leaving the house where he stays in Webber Road.
His father has searched for him in Germiston but, thus far, has had no success.
The boy attended a college in Meyer Street, in the Germiston CBD.
He is described as being tall and slim, and about 1.5m tall.
He was wearing blue jeans, a white dry-mac jacket and grey sneakers when he went missing.
