A disgruntled Hazel Park resident recently contacted the Germiston City News in an attempt to get answers.
He claims that in Beacon Road, in Hazel Park, there are no less than three leaks in a single street.
The first of the two leaks can be found outside number 3 Beacon Road which was first reported over three weeks ago.
The second can be found a little way up the street outside number 42 Beacon Road which was first reported on November 4.
The residents of Beacon Road would like to know when the metro plans to fix these leaks and what the hold up has been with the repairs.
The GCN approached the metro for comment on the matter.
Lebogang Ramashala, senior media officer with the metro’s department of communications and brand management, replied to the GCN’s query, stating that, “An inspection was done on Friday, November 7.
“The complaint will be captured and attended to.”
