Two vehicles were involved in an accident on the corner of Barbara Road and Oak Avenue on Wednesday, January 7.
The scene was attended by the Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services rescue team from Primrose Fire Station.
“The call was received in the afternoon, around 2.05pm, and upon arrival, it was found that a female patient and a seven-year-old child suffered serious but stable injuries. Both were transported to Glenwood Hospital by an ER24 ambulance,” said the metro’s Disaster and Emergency Management Services’ spokesman, William Ntladi.
The cause of the accident is not yet known as the case is being handed over to the EMPD for further investigation.
