Members of the Primrose Police, with the help of the Germiston Flying Squad, recently arrested a 29-year-old suspect.
The man was charged with possession of drugs and dealing in drugs.
The arrest, which took place in Rietfontein Road, occurred when members of the Germiston Flying Squad were on patrol in the area.
“Officers noticed a suspicious looking man, so they they stopped the vehicle and searched the suspect,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose Police.
During the search, officers found a number of plastic packages containing what is believed to be drugs in his possession.
He was arrested and then appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
