Get physical for a good cause

Fun Hirsch’s aerobics class set to raise funds for Germiston Red Cross.

Get out your aerobics gear and head on down to Hirsch’s Meadowdale this Saturday.

Brigitte Thysse, the public relations and marketing officer for the store, has organised a Health and Wellness Day in support of the Germiston branch of the South African Red Cross Society.

The event is put together in collaboration with Discovery and Virgin Active Bedfordview.

For a nominal fee of R20 per participant, children and adults can take part in a fun family aerobics event.

All proceeds raised will go to the Germiston Red Cross.

To make sure you are ready for the class, it is recommended you arrive at 9.30am for a 10am kick-off.

During the course of the morning, the public can take advantage of free “passport to health” checks, including, BMI assessments, blood pressure tests, muscle mass index assessments and sugar level tests.

There will also be a jumping castle, free popcorn and slushies for the children, courtesy of LG.

To book your spot or for more information email to Brigitte at brigitte@hirschs.co.za
