Over the recent long weekend, the cluster stations of Katlehong, together with members of the EMPD, arrested a total of 90 suspects.
The cluster is made up of Dawn Park, Vosloorus, Zonkizizwe, Eden Park, Tokoza, Katlehong North and Katlehong.
The suspects were arrested during a crime prevention operation named the Feela Operation and were charged with various crimes including; assault, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, robbery, armed robbery, domestic violence, possession of counterfeit money, theft, malicious damage to property, shoplifting, driving under the influence of alcohol, rape, attempted rape, murder, attempted murder and drug possession (dagga and nyaope).
They appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
