Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police, told the GCN that an unknown number of residents from the Marathon informal settlement were expected to march today to demand better service delivery.
The marchers have not arrived at the designated meeting spot, to start the march.
Police deny any rumours of EFF involvement.
