During a recent patrol in the Marathon informal settlement, officers from the Primrose Police Station arrested two men for the possession of dagga.
Officers searched the men and found that each man had a bag of dagga in their possession.
The two men, both 24 years old, were arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station.
One of the men paid an admission of guilt fine and was released while the second appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court.
His case was postponed for plea and trial.
