A woman was killed last Friday, allegedly by her father, during an argument in the Kwanele Section of Katlehong. The 21-year-old woman was declared dead on scene by paramedics, after allegedly being fatally shot by her father.
2. Alleged warning shot ends in death: https://bit.ly/1MoRenY
A 23-year-old security guard from the Primrose Gold Mine,recently handed himself over to police following the death of a 24-year-old man. The man’s body was found near the mine, on July 8, with a gunshot wound to his upper body. During the preliminary investigation, another security guard from the mine informed officers on the scene that his colleague had told him that he had fired a warning shot while patrolling in the early hours of the morning.

The Din-Al-View CPF is warning the community that home invasions are on the increase in access controlled communities in the area.
4. On-and-off ramps to N17 closed at Wits Rifles: https://bit.ly/1gQ1ny0
The on-and-off ramps to the N17 highway were closed at Wits Rifles Road, in Germiston, due to a truck accident, on Thursday. “The two occupants of the truck were transported to hospital with minor injuries. It appears that the driver lost control of the vehicle as he turned onto the on-ramp of the highway resulting in the vehicle rolling,” said William Ntladi, media liaison officer for the Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS).
