Man will spend three years in jail for housebreaking

Hard work from police leads to man’s conviction.

Det-Const Robert Ragoja and the Primrose Housebreaking and Theft Task Team managed to secure another conviction, recently.

The team investigated a case of housebreaking and theft that took place in the Delport informal settlement in May 2013.

Foster Moto (26) was arrested for the crime and was found guilty in the Germiston Magistrates Court.

He was sentenced to six years imprisonment, of which three would be served as a suspended sentence.

This is on condition that the accused was not again charged with housebreaking and theft.

Moto was also declared unfit to possess a firearm.

The commander of the Primrose Police Station, Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo, thanked the team for their dedication and hard work.
