A 28-year-old woman was arrested for drug possession during a recent patrol by the Johannesburg K9 Unit.
“While on patrol in Primrose the officers received a tip-off that someone was selling drugs out of a house in Walker Avenue,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
When they arrived at the home they found it deserted.
However, a woman was found close to the house with a small zip-lock plastic bag, containing a substance suspected to be drugs, and a small glass pipe in her possession.
“When she saw the officers she attempted to dispose of the drugs,” Maome said.
She was arrested and detained at the Primrose Police Station.
