Raffle hamper winner chosen

Elandsvallei Home for the Aged to benefit from the sale of raffle tickets.

Dimitri Papadakis (owner of Turn ’n Tender Bedfordview), Barbara Jensen (manager of the Germiston branch of the SA Red Cross Society under which Elandsvallei Home for the Aged falls) and Glen Dembo (Turn ’n Tender) did the draw for the beautiful hamper for which people could purchase a raffle ticket.

The raffle was done in the lead up to the Turn ’n Tender Charity Golf Day, of which Elandsvallei was a beneficiary and  the draw was done on Thursday.

Over 600 raffle tickets were sold and the money was donated to Elandsvallei.

Barbara drew the winning ticket, which belonged to Greg Papadopulos.

The hamper is worth about R7 000.
