The Energy Department has released the latest fuel price adjustments.
All grades of petrol will increase by one cent a litre next Wednesday (December 2), with Diesel decreasing by 3,8 cents and 1,8 cents respectively.
Despite the weaker rand, the lower oil price has kept fuel prices from increasing substantially.
The petrol price has decreased by more than 90 cents since September; and this is the first increase in a while.
If fuel prices remain low, this will go a long way to stopping inflation from creeping out of the reserve bank’s target range of three to six percent.
