The metro wishes to inform residents and businesses that it is aware of the power supply interruption affecting parts of Germiston.
The interruption is due to a cable fault at the Actom substation. Ekurhuleni technicians are currently on site carrying out repair work at the facility.
The areas affected are: Castleview, Lambton and Wadeville.
Power is expected to be restored by 7pm this evening.
The metro apologises for the inconvenience caused.
