The afternoon has got dark and stormy bringing heavy rain and hail to Germiston.
What started out as light rain quickly turned into a heavy thunderstorm.
Although the SA Weather Service only predicted occasional rain for today, that was not the case.

Residents are advised to make sure their animals have appropriate shelter.
