The Primrose SAPS issued a warning to the community to look out for several vehicles reportedly being used in hijackings and housebreakings in the area.

Another elderly resident of Delville has been murdered. The Germiston SAPS responded to a call at 6pm last Thursday, after residents became suspicious, as they had not seen an elderly gentleman, aged 65, for two days. Upon their arrival at the scene, police officers forced their way into the Mons Road, Delville, home and found the body of the man.

Last Tuesday, the sky suddenly became dark and stormy, bringing heavy rain and hail to Germiston. What started out as light rain quickly turned into a heavy thunderstorm, despite the SA Weather Service prediction of occasional rain.
4. EMPD arrest five pupils, one drug supplier at high schools: https://bit.ly/1Vx3RTQ
EMPD officers raided two high schools in Katlehong, last Thursday. The schools, which have problems with regard to unbecoming conduct and the abuse of drugs by some of the pupils, were targeted by the officers as part of Operation Bumper to Bumper, between 8am and 1pm. Searches at the two schools produced six arrests.
