The installation of a new circuit breaker at the Germiston North substation has affected the supply of water to high lying areas of Primrose, Gerdview, Sunnyridge and Dawnview.
Residents in the above mentioned areas may be currently experiencing low water pressure to no water supply.
Three roving water tankers have been made available to supply water to the affected areas.
Meanwhile, the power supply is expected to be restored by 5pm this afternoon.
The metro apologises for the inconvenience caused.
