Local dancer showcases her talent
Jade Jansen did exceptionally well in a recent dancing competition.
Local dancer and pupil at St Catherine’s School, Jade Jansen excelled in the recent South African Dancing Institute competition.
She achieved the following:
- Disco Jazz Solo: A (Gold)
- Disco Jazz Impro Solo: B+ (Silver)
- Modern Jazz Solo: A (Gold)
- Modern Jazz Impro Solo: A (Gold)
Jade also participated in five group dances where the teams achieved A’s (golds) and special awards for outstanding performance.
Her junior squad dance group was awarded a floating trophy.
To top off her excellent results at the competition Jade received an invitation, based on her solo performances, to participate in the South African Dancing Institute’s Global Tour in 2017 to Dubai.
St Catherine’s is extremely proud of their dancing queen.
