Members of the Germiston branch of the SA Red Cross Society, together with members from the Germiston SAPS, recently handed out blankets to the homeless and vulnerable in the Germiston CBD. The police assisted the team and identified the areas in alleys, on roof tops, derelict buildings and at the taxi rank, where the homeless seek shelter.
