Robbers storm home, rob residents

Four men recently robbed a home in Buhle Park.

Four armed robbers recently kicked down the door of a home in Buhle Park Phase Three at 2.30am in the morning.

Two were armed with firearms and one with a knife.

The suspects allegedly went to rooms in the house occupied by tenants and kicked open the doors, threatening the occupants with their weapons.

An 18-year-old man was stabbed during the robbery.

The thieves made off with cellphones, money, electrical appliances and shoes.

Another victim sustained serious injuries to his upper body and was admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

He described one of the suspects to the Elsburg SAPS, as well as identifying the house where the suspect lived to the police.

Officers managed to arrest a 25-year-old man and he was charged with attempted murder and house robbery.

The other three men are still at large.
