Child grant is not the answer

We are approaching the festive season and for many young people, especially girls, this is the time for many of them to lose track of their morality and dignity.
With the exams almost over, and the anxiety of the uncertainty of failure or success looming large in life, it is not going to be easy for many school children to navigate their way through this moment of mistakes and pitfalls. The sheer overwhelming exposure to the recklessness of the festive season could see many fail and fall into the same old trap of “an innocent sexual encounter”.
We are all aware of the dangers that will face some teenagers who may find themselves away from their parents or guardians. Many will be exposed to a variety of compromising situations that could turn their future into a life-time misery of horror.
