Nosipho Khumalo, a medical student at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, hopes her story will inspire others to reach for their dreams.

Lambton’s Nosipho Khumalo (19) is proud of her 2017 achievements and wants her success to inspire others to reach for their dreams.

The first-year Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) medical student, who hopes to one day become a neurosurgeon, is not only a class representative but also a former football captain, current manager of her varsity’s table tennis team, national secretary of University Sports South Africa (USSA) for table tennis – and a writer to boot.

The bubbly young woman visited the GCN’s offices to share her journey.
