Twenty-four suspects were nabbed by the Primrose police between December 25 and 31.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.
The accused were arrested for a number of different crimes in the area.

Charges included hijacking, kidnapping, possession of house break-in implements, possession of an unlicensed firearm and live ammunition, possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, domestic violence, driving under the influence of alcohol, dealing in liquor without a license, possession of suspected stolen property, malicious damage to property and a warrant of arrest.
Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
