El-Shammah Home for Abandoned Babies and Place of Safety set to hold fun-filled golf day.

El-Shammah Home for Abandoned Babies and Place of Safety, in Primrose, is always looking for ways to raise much needed funds.

The facility is not an orphanage, but rather a place of safety where abandoned babies can stay and be cared for and loved until the Children’s Court decides what their future holds.

The home will host a charity golf day on July 12 at the Reading Country Club, Alberton.

A four-ball can be secured for R1 700 by the community or businesses.

“The community and business are also welcome to sponsor a hole on the day,” said home manager Allistair Scholtz.

“We need all the help we can get to make this golf day a big success.”
