The Primrose police arrested 39 suspects between July 12 and 18.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.

The accused were arrested for a number of different offences.
Charges included possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, house break-in and theft, house robbery, murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm, common robbery, attempted robbery, driving under the influence of alcohol, dealing in liquor without a licence, theft, contempt of court and warrant of arrest.

The Primrose SAPS’s station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
