Special Christmas in July event to help those in need

The Din-Al-View CPF will be holding a fun-filled dinner at Mike’s Kitchen to help children in need.

The Din-Al-View CPF is always looking for ways to get the community to work together and to help their fellow human beings.

To this end, a special Christmas in July event will be held at Mike’s Kitchen Lambton on July 31.

The event will help raise funds for the Din-Al-View CPF (a portion of the money from the sittings), but more importantly to collect non-perishable food items for Siyabonga Children’s Cottages, situated in Norton Small Farms.

The buffet dinner will see two sittings, one at 6pm and another at 8pm.

They will be attended by a number of special guests from the SAPS.

Should you wish to attend during the day, the buffet will also be available.

The community is encouraged to come along and show their support.

The entrance fee is a nonperishable food item and the meal will cost R150 a head.

A container will be made available at the restaurant should community members want to pop in and donate food items without sitting down to a meal.
